Farmers

The farmer, his wife, dog and their buffalo made their daily procession to their work venue. I had reference of a photo from my friend who toured that part of China when a view like this offered good photography. If you want to learn more about the tourist spot, this is Xiandu Scenic Area located in Jinyun County, Lishui District, Zhejiang Province. The peak shown in the picture is about 170.8 metres tall, standing erect and majestic amidst the surrounding mountains.

I like this piece of work for the opportunity to show reflections in the water of everything that is above the bridge. The horizontal reflection line has to be drawn correctly to show realistic symmetry of subjects.

Morning Stillness

There is stillness in the morning

Except those searching a living

Soon the sun is out shinning bright

Living for them would not come light  

They till the land with all their might

Working the hours till almost night

They go home no trace of tiredness

Wanting next day’s morning stillness
